Much of Serra Mesa is, because of its canyons. Look up your address on CAL FIRE's map. If it's in a very high zone, the City's brush clearance and Zone Zero rules apply, and existing homes have until February 2027 to comply.

KB Home has applied to build 199 for-sale homes on the former Mission Village site at 9160–9280 Gramercy Dr. It is a staff decision with no public hearing.

The trails start on the west and east sides of Taft Middle School, 9191 Gramercy Dr, and at the west end of Shawn Ave.
