The plan is 199 for-sale homes on about nine acres, including eight homes with ground-floor shop space along Gramercy Drive, plus 398 parking spaces and new striping on Gramercy Drive and Ruffin Road. City staff will make the decision under Process 1, which has no public hearing and no appeal.

  Three-alarm fire destroys abandoned Serra Mesa office building

  More than 100 firefighters fought the fire for five hours at the vacant office building at 9160 Gramercy Drive, across the street from Taft Middle School. No one was hurt, and the cause is under investigation.
